Order Filler
Duties:
- Receive and process customer orders through an E-commerce platform
- Utilize AS400 system to locate and retrieve stock items
- Package orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in order fulfillment or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
Skills:
- Stock management: Ability to locate, retrieve, and organize stock items
- E-commerce: Experience processing customer orders through online platforms
- AS400: Familiarity with AS400 system for inventory management
- Package handling: Knowledge of proper packaging techniques to ensure safe delivery of orders
- Pallet jack operation: Proficiency in operating pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse
- MRP systems: Understanding of Material Requirements Planning systems for inventory control
- Shipping and receiving: Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment
- Order fulfillment: Ability to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Forklift operation: Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- RF scanner usage: Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking
